Sugar Rush Strain Info:
The lineage is a cross between Platinum and Slurricane marijuana strains created by In House Genetics.
GENETICS:
- Platinum x Slurricane
APPEARANCE:
One of the most striking visual features of the Sugar Rush strain is the thick layer of white trichomes resin. Similar to an indica, but with a looser, more open structure like a sativa. Trichomes are tiny, crystal-like structures that contain the plant’s cannabinoids and terpenes.
TASTE / SMELL:
When you first inhale, you will notice a subtle sweetness reminiscent of candy. As you continue to breathe in the aroma, you may pick up on additional notes citrus and berry. As for the taste of Sugar Rush weed, it’s equally as enjoyable as aroma. Some reported tasting hints of vanilla or cream, which add a smoothness to the taste.
Sugar Rush Strain Effects?
Known to produce a strong sense of euphoria, which is a feeling of intense happiness and well-being. This is due to the Sugar Rush weed strain’s high THC content, which is a psychoactive compound that affects the brain’s reward system. Sativa strains are known to produce more energizing and uplifting effects compared to indica, which tend to be more sedating. Dry eyes and dry mouth are negative side effect so have some eye drops and drinks ready.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS:
Can activate the brain’s cannabinoid receptors, which can reduce the perception of pain. Sugar Rush weed may also help stimulate appetite, making it a potential treatment for conditions such as anorexia and cachexia. These are suggestions and are not intended as professional medical advice.
GROW JOURNAL:
Requires plenty of light to grow, so make sure to provide at least 18 hours of light per day during the vegetative stage and 12 hours of light per day during the flowering stage. LED grow lights are a popular option for indoor growing. Sugar Rush strain flowering time is 8-9 weeks with outdoor harvest coming in mid October. Grows best in temperatures between 70-80°F (21-27°C) and humidity levels between 40-60%. Use a thermometer and hygrometer to monitor these levels and make adjustments as needed. Growing marijuana indoors yields 450 g/ m² with an outdoor yield of upwards of 800 g/ per plant. Harvest by trimming the buds from the plant and drying them in a cool, dry place for 7-10 days.
