A handmade marijuana cigar, also known in some parts of the world as a blunt, joint or spliff. Blunts consist of marijuana that is rolled into a cigar-like “blunt” rather than using cigarette paper. When rolling blunts, the tobacco leaves are replaced by marijuana, either ground or in bud form. Blunts are smoked in the same manner as cigars, but the tobacco takes on the flavor of the marijuana. It is not uncommon for a blunt to contain more than one type of marijuana. They come in many varieties, they can be flavored or not, and can have either a natural leaf tobacco or a synthetic cellulose paper wrapper
The size of a blunt is slightly larger than a cigarillo or cigarette, and hence a bit difficult to fit into a standard-size filter or mouthpiece. The texture, dimensions and color of blunt resemble those of the corresponding cigar or cigarillos.
HOW MUCH MARIJUANA DO YOU ROLL IN A BLUNT?
The amount of weed you roll up in a blunt depends on a myriad of factors: the quality of the weed, how much weed is present, how compact you want the packed blunt to be, and the size of your rolling papers. A typical joint contains about 0.3 grams of marijuana. However, when smoking blunts instead, this amount goes up drastically (due to how tightly a blunt can be rolled) to between 0.5-1 grams per blunt.
HOW TO ROLL A BLUNT?
The process of rolling a blunt is not very difficult, it just takes a bit of planning and a little patience. A blunt is basically any cigar that has been hollowed out and filled with marijuana. Can vary depending on the material used to make the blunt, but overall involves taking the blunt wrapper off, then packing the blunt tightly with weed.
There are four steps to rolling a blunt:
1) measure the amount of marijuana in grams and put it into a grinder
2) grind the marijuana till it has an even consistency and remove bud bits
3) remove the wrapping and insert the grounded material inside the leaf.
4) use a little moisture on ure finger gluing the two sides of the leaf together.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BLUNT AND A JOINT?
Many people think that a blunt is simply a cigar or joint with marijuana added to it. In reality, blunts and joints are completely different with very distinct differences. A joint is tightly rolled marijuana covered in paper. Blunts, on the other hand, are wrapped in leafy material like cigar leaf. The taste of a joint is more similar to that of a cigarette since it is made from cigarette like paper and sometimes made using commercial tobacco.
Since blunts use cigar leafs, the taste is much richer and earthier. Some leafs can come with added flavors adding to the experience. The high from a blunt last longer than that of a joint since there are more plant materials to burn. The researchers are currently conducting a study on whether individuals who regularly smoke blunts are more likely to develop cancerous lung and respiratory diseases than those who do not use this method of smoking marijuana.
COST OF A BLUNT?
If you are asking how much a blunt costs, it can depend on where you buy your supplies, what type of cigar you want and how much weed or other substances you want to use.
