THC Dominant Marijuana Strain Information

Marijuana plants contain cannabinoids which interact with our body's endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS helps maintain homeostasis within our bodies by regulating various processes like mood, memory, sleep cycles, pain sensing, immune function, etc. The two main types of cannabinoids are phytocannabinoids (plant-based) and endocannabinoids (produced naturally by our bodies). Phytocannabinoids are found in plants such as cannabis whereas endocannabinoids are produced by humans' own bodies. Phytocannabinoids bind with receptors in our bodies called CB1 and CB2 receptors. These receptors are found in the brain (CB1 receptors), liver (CB1 & CB2), kidneys (CB2), lungs (CB2), immune system cells (CB2)
